Habitat Whatcom is Saddling Up for a week-long online auction followed by an in-person party on Friday, September 20th
Hold onto your hats, folks! Habitat for Humanity in Whatcom County’s 22nd Annual Auction is coming around the bend. Their in-person party on Friday, September 20th will be held at Barnstar Events in Ferndale. With a cowboy theme to match the setting of the venue, guests are in for a rip-roarin’ time as they play games, enjoy live entertainment and delicious food, and bid on unique live and silent auction items to support affordable housing for local families.
This year, you don’t have to have a ticket to the party to participate in the auction. From the morning of Friday the 13th of September through midnight on the 20th, all are welcome to support Habitat by bidding on the hundreds of items they have in their online catalog! From local gifts and excursions to international adventures, there’s something for everyone in the auction this year.
You can preview the online auction items (which are getting updated daily!) and register in advance at auctria.events/giddyup.
Proceeds from Habitat Whatcom’s annual auction go directly to funding their affordable housing projects across the county. Currently, Habitat for Humanity in Whatcom County is constructing four townhomes on Todd Lane in Bellingham, preparing to break ground on four new townhomes in Everson this fall, and working on plans for the 50+ homes they have in the pipeline for local families.
